Event Venue

Horatius is a spectacular venue for corporate events, dinners, cocktail parties, receptions and even weddings.  A soaring industrial ceiling, rustic artifacts surrounding sleek Carrara marble countertops and an atrium-like atmosphere make the space both exciting and memorable. A meeting room adjacent to the main gallery space (in 360 Kansas Street) will be finished in Fall 2009, providing an ideal space for corporate meetings with receptions to follow.

The iconic barn door, constructed onsite using reclaimed barn wood, slides open to reveal a screen available for displaying photos, corporate logos, presentations or live broadcasts. It will even be possible to watch major sporting events at Horatius, such as the upcoming 2010 World Cup event in South Africa. Thoughtfully designed amenities such as moveable fixtures, a state-of-the-art presentation and sound system and in-house catering help to ensure any event is successful. 

Our catering menu reflects the Horatius commitment to use the finest local, organic and sustainable products whenever possible. We are happy to tailor our menu to fit your event’s specific needs. Whether your event is a sit-down dinner for 25 people or a cocktail party for 250 people, Horatius is a unique and memorable venue.  Our facility can accommodate events up to 300 people.
